I’m so glad you’re here! I am a pediatric speech-language pathologist and owner of Pathway Therapy Specialists. I founded this company to provide individualized, relationship-based therapy to help children build communication skills, confidence, and independence in everyday life.

My approach focuses on meeting each child where they are and supporting families in ways that feel practical, encouraging, and meaningful.

The roads may have been a little slick still today, but that didn’t stop the dinosaurs from making their way to the pancake shop for breakfast during a session 🦖🦕🥞 I love the @educationalinsights Pancake Pile-up game because it’s so versatile— I used it for pretend play in the morning, and then as a relay race (be the first to build your pancake stack) later in the day! Activities like this are always a win in my book, because I never know how a child will want to engage with the materials I bring— so it’s great to have options. Flexibility is the name of the game as a pediatric SLP! #pediatricslp #playbasedlearning #kidstoys

Who says you have to skip right over Thanksgiving after Halloween?? 🦃🦃 Pathway speech therapy sessions have been full of fun and festive turkeys, a Fall sensory bin, language games, and Thanksgiving books. Also, PSA to other SLPs out there— seasonal beanbag toss games have been a HUGE hit with my patients, they are easy to set up/take down, and turns are quick! Plus you get to get trash-talked by 7 year olds (and sometimes younger), which is always entertaining! 😂 Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving week! #privatepracticeslps #pediatricslp #newkentva #williamsburgva #westpointva

We had a Pathway graduation this week! 🥳🥳 This little lady and her sweet family have put in ALL the hard work to support her therapy goals! She’s made tons of improvements in oral function as a result (and lost a few teeth along the way).
